My husband, Aladár, used to call me Anna—this is where the sparkling wine got the name Zichy Anna. Together, we founded the Tokaj Zichy Anna Sparkling Wine House.
ZICHY ANNA
Dr Anikó Zichy originally trained as a lawyer. Together with her husband, Count Aladár Zichy, she established their agricultural enterprise, the Zichy Estate, whose core activity is arable farming, primarily cereal production.
The crown jewel of the estate is the Zichy Anna Sparkling Wine House. Its foundations were laid by Anikó and Aladár during the restitution period, when they acquired their vineyard holdings in Tokaj-Hegyalja—altogether around 30 hectares.
Having stepped away from her legal career in support of the family business, Anikó completed the English-language postgraduate programme in Wine Business Management in 2023, jointly delivered by Tokaj-Hegyalja University and the University of Dijon.

SPARKLING WINE MAKING
Our vineyards are located across three different villages and vineyards—Mád, Tarcal, and Szegi—where variations in soil composition and microclimate each lend a distinct character to the sparkling wine.
For the production of our base wine, every year we carry out a carefully selected harvest, tailored to the unique characteristics of the vintage.

Furmint-based, with a delicate touch of Muscat, hand-harvested from our Tarcal and Mád vineyards. Made with zero dosage using the traditional method, aged on lees for 36 months, with airy bubbles and an exciting bottle bouquet.
